The Travellers Tribe is a small, hands-on team. We plan trips, lead them, and look after the travellers who join us — which means most roles here involve a bit of everything, and the work is as much about people as it is about places.
We hire for attitude and care more than for a particular CV. If you love the mountains, look after people well, and can hold your nerve when a road is blocked or the weather turns, you will do well here.
Where we usually need people
- Trip leaders and trek guides — experienced, certified, and comfortable leading mixed-ability groups.
- Travel consultants — helping travellers choose the right trip and planning customised itineraries.
- Operations and on-ground coordination — permits, transport, accommodation and the hundred details a trip depends on.
- Content, photography and social media — telling the story of our trips honestly and well.
What it is like
Our seasons are busy and our shoulder months are quieter. Field roles involve real time outdoors, often at altitude, and long days when a group is on the move. Office roles are flexible, but travel is part of the job for everyone.
We are not a large company. You will have real responsibility early, direct access to the people making decisions, and a say in how we do things.
