Welcome to The Travellers Tribe. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the travel services we offer, including adventure trips, group tours, solo travel, leisure holidays, customised trips, and domestic and international tour packages.
By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Travellers Tribe.
- Customers must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
- A booking will be considered confirmed once the required payment has been received and confirmation has been communicated.
- Specific trip itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, and additional conditions will be shared before booking confirmation.
2. Pricing & Payments
- All prices will be communicated before booking confirmation and may vary depending on availability, season, destination, and selected services.
- Any applicable taxes, additional charges, or exclusions will be communicated as part of the booking details.
- Customers are responsible for making payments within the specified deadlines.
- Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking, subject to the applicable booking terms.
- Any changes to the itinerary or services requested by the customer may incur additional charges.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
All cancellations, refund requests, and booking changes are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and any trip-specific terms shared at the time of booking.
Customers are encouraged to review the applicable cancellation conditions before making a payment.
4. Itinerary & Trip Changes
The Travellers Tribe makes reasonable efforts to follow the published itinerary.
Changes may be necessary due to weather conditions, transportation issues, accommodation availability, local restrictions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where necessary, alternative arrangements of a reasonably comparable nature may be offered, subject to availability and applicable booking terms. Significant changes will be communicated to travellers as soon as reasonably practicable.
5. Traveller Responsibilities
All travellers are expected to:
- Provide accurate personal and travel information.
- Carry valid identification, passports, visas, permits, and other required travel documents.
- Arrive at designated meeting points and departure locations on time.
- Follow instructions provided by trip leaders, guides, and activity professionals.
- Respect local cultures, customs, laws, communities, and the environment.
- Behave responsibly and avoid actions that endanger themselves or other travellers.
The Travellers Tribe reserves the right to take appropriate action if a traveller's conduct seriously disrupts a trip or creates a safety risk, subject to applicable law and the relevant booking terms.
6. Adventure Activities & Safety
Certain trips may include trekking, hiking, camping, water sports, or other adventure activities that carry inherent risks.
- Travellers must follow all safety instructions provided by qualified guides and activity operators.
- Participation in specific activities may be subject to age, fitness, equipment, weather, or other safety requirements.
- Activity availability may change due to weather, local conditions, or safety assessments.
- Travellers are responsible for assessing their ability to participate and should disclose relevant requirements to the appropriate service provider where necessary.
The Travellers Tribe will take reasonable steps to coordinate responsible travel arrangements and prioritise traveller safety. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
7. Travel Documents & Insurance
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that their passports, visas, permits, and other travel documents are valid and meet destination requirements.
International travellers should verify entry requirements and any applicable health or immigration regulations before departure.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended, particularly for international trips and adventure activities. Any mandatory insurance requirements for specific trips or activities will be communicated where applicable.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
Some travel arrangements may be provided by independent airlines, hotels, transport operators, guides, activity providers, or other suppliers.
Such services may be subject to separate terms and conditions. The Travellers Tribe will take reasonable care in selecting or coordinating relevant providers, but responsibility for third-party services will be determined by the applicable agreements and law.
9. Personal Belongings
Travellers are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings, valuables, travel documents, and electronic devices during a trip.
Any assistance provided in relation to lost or misplaced belongings will depend on the circumstances and the relevant service provider's procedures. Nothing in this clause limits rights available under applicable law.
10. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All original website content, including text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, and other materials owned by The Travellers Tribe, may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Users agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or engage in unlawful activities through our services.
11. Photography & Promotional Content
Photography or video recording may take place during trips for personal memories or promotional purposes.
The use of identifiable traveller photographs or videos for marketing and promotional purposes will be subject to appropriate consent and applicable law. Travellers may contact us regarding their preferences or concerns.
12. Unforeseen Circumstances
Events such as natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes, public emergencies, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect travel arrangements.
In such cases, The Travellers Tribe will make reasonable efforts to communicate changes and explore available alternatives, rescheduling, or refund options in accordance with the booking terms, supplier conditions, and applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
The Travellers Tribe will exercise reasonable care in coordinating the travel services it offers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control will be assessed in accordance with the relevant booking terms and legal requirements.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Privacy & Personal Information
Personal information collected during enquiries and bookings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Customers are encouraged to review that policy to understand how their information is collected, used, stored, and shared.
15. Amendments to These Terms
The Travellers Tribe may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be published on our website with an updated effective date.
Changes to confirmed bookings will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and law.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are subject to the laws of India, where applicable. Any disputes will be addressed through good-faith communication and, where necessary, the appropriate legal forums having jurisdiction under applicable law.
